Longzhi Yuan

Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Prof. Yuguang Fang's group at City University of Hong Kong. Before that, I received the Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Wei Gong at the School of Data Science at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2023 and the B.E. degree in Electronic & Information Engineering at USTC in 2017, respectively. Also, I am appreciated to spend great two years with Prof. Weidong Chen during 2017-2019.

My research focuses on wireless sensing, wireless networks, and Internet-of-Things. I worked to develop low-power backscatter communication systems, improve their throughputs, and make them compatible with commercial radios. Currently, I try to use backscatter and reflection surface to assist wireless sensing.
